\n—  \nCommunity-Based Arts and Play Program for War-Affected Children and Adolescents from Gaza in Montreal \n \nHow can community-based arts and play support children and adolescents affected by war as they rebuild their lives in Montreal? CERDA invites you to an English-language webinar presented by Sewar Elejla from the Department of Psychiatry at McGill University\, and 2025 CERDA scholarship recipient. \n \nThe presentation will share the experience of an eight-week Arts- and Play-Based Psychological First Aid community program developed with Welcome Haven (Espace Le Havre) for children and adolescents from Gaza and their families. Designed in response to psychological distress and barriers to culturally responsive mental health care\, the program offers structured\, accessible\, trauma-informed support in a community setting. \n \nParticipants will learn about: \n• the program’s design and participatory approach; \n• its implementation in the community; and \n• insights from interviews with parents and adolescents to help improve the program.    \n[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
